1. The promotion of unit2 practice and the exhibition effect and feedback to the public

WORK TANGO IN A FLOODED castle in the exhibition:

In the practice of Unit 2, I tried tracing paper as a screen to create the digital sculptures.

And in the practice of the unit2, I walked out of the limited topic of my work and tried to look at the world problems from a broad perspective with the help of my own theoretical research. On the basis of such thinking and research, I created the work of dancing the Tango in a flooded castle.

In the exhibition in Unit 2, I played the work on the big screen and got feedback that the frame of the screen would interfere with the viewer's experience, and in my own reflection, I also realized that if this work was displayed only on an ordinary screen, the texture of this work can not achieve the best effect.

The effect of tracing paper as the mapping screen

The effect of showing Tango in a flooded castle in a big TV screen-Camberwell show

After observation and reflection, I decided to try to add some texture to the display of this work. After the experience of testing white sheets and tracing paper as projection screens, I decided to increase the texture of the work by changing the material of the projection screen. Because the theme of this work is about war, I chose the oil canvas with a bit of rough texture as the projection material to display.

IMG_0313.JPG
IMG_0381.JPG
IMG_0340.JPG

I tried to use oil canvas as a projection screen at the exhibition in July. During the test, I was surprised to find that it can also achieve the same effect as white sheets and transparent paper, that is, the film can be seen from both sides of the screen after projection. Looking at it on the back of the screen even has a more retro effect, which fits well with the topic of war, which is full of sense of ruin.

Another advantage of this presentation is that the projector can be hidden. I chose the back of the screen as the main display surface, not only in the effect of catching up with the theme, but also when the audience entered this space, there was no projector, plus I hung the screen in the middle of the exhibition hall with fishing line. The overall presentation effect is like a large screen suspended in the exhibition hall.

I am very satisfied with the effect of this presentation, as I expected, this is my most satisfactory presentation. This successful exhibition also made me decide to continue to use this material and suspension to present my work in the future.

WORK CANCAN in the exhibition:

This work is the last time I used it to make a digital sculpture, and the last time it was projected on transparent paper very well. However, I think transparent paper is more suitable for simply showing the state of digital characters.

The work itself is conversational and storytelling, and there is text in the video. In fact, this work itself is not a digital sculpture, but more like a story that takes place in space. Therefore, in the exhibition in July, I would like to express the story and inner anxiety about the identity of a woman.

And this kind of anxiety and sympathy for the characters, I hope that visitors can calm down and slowly experience it. So I chose the old TV and a small and private space to make it a warm, closed, and retention space. In the space, I put common household facilities such as chair, carpet in the space, and hope that the viewer can calm down with the purest perspective to experience the dialogue and state of the characters, just like watching TV in a dark room when he was a child. The element of retro appliances is added to the space in order to connect the theme with a deeper historical background.

Introduction to the work:This set of sculptures can be regarded as a general archive of my video characters.  In this work, I extracted two images from the archive and gave them a movement of cancan dance. In the background, two contemporary immigrant women discuss the opportunity to stay in a foreign country. The work connects the politicized plight of women from the 19th century to the present through the collision of voice and character.

In the two stages of unit 2 and unit 3, I participated in two film festivals, one art festival, two off-campus exhibitions and one radio program. The following is how I feel after taking part in these exhibition opportunities.

1. There is a great difference in the presentation of works between exhibitions and film festivals, which also affects my choice of the final presentation version of the work. When I participated in the first two exhibitions, whether it was the art festival or the exhibition in the bar, I simply chose the existing screen to present my work, although there was nothing wrong and there would be no unexpected problems. But I always feel that my work has lost its original vitality and is always in a state of non-development, and there is always a gap between the work and the space and the other works.

WechatIMG108.jpeg
WechatIMG115.jpeg

In the later exhibition practice, if it is a film festival, I will focus more on the image quality of the film and the transmission of text. Of course, when choosing a film festival, I will try my best to choose a film festival that matches the theme and vibe of my work.

If it is an offline exhibition out of the two-dimensional screen, I will pay more attention to the exhibition space, the other works in the exhibition, and what kind of materials and techniques to present my works will be more in line with my theme.

IMG_0331.JPG
IMG_7367.JPG

In both exhibitions, I chose to hang my screen in the middle of the exhibition hall.

On the one hand, I hope that the audience can see the works from both sides of the screen to add interest and texture to the works. I chose different screen materials for different works, such as war-themed works, I choose relatively rough oil canvas as projection material. As for digital sculpture, I want the projection screen to disappear and form a sculpture floating in space, just like using 3D virtual imaging technology. So tracing paper, which is thinner and more transparent, is chosen.

On the other hand, most of the other works are two-dimensional video works leaning against the wall, and if there are some three-dimensional hanging installations in the middle of the exhibition hall, it will make the whole space more balanced.

The exhibition takes place in a dilapidated space.

Instead of projecting it on the screen, I chose to change the work and map it on the broken wall directly. I think this way of display not only gives the lively video a more interesting texture and stronger vitality, but also makes the screening hall, which originally has only one screen, more dynamic.

2. In addition to feeling that London has a wealth of opportunities for artists, I also lament that the different qualities of various displays. In retrospect, I have always been lucky. I lived in Shanghai before, and Shanghai also has a very rich opportunities to display works of art. But when I think of many artists, because of the limitations of living areas or epidemic policies, it is very difficult to have the opportunity to present their works, and I will feel sorry for these potential artists. So I considered building a platform for young artists to provide cross-border exhibition opportunities.

4. Re-deepen my theoretical research foundation and create the new work

New understanding about feminist:

Ueno_Chizuko_2014-05_U-Tokyo.jpg

In my research, I never mentioned this Japanese sociologist, Chizuko Ueno. But my understanding of feminism began with one of her books called understanding of feminist. I never mentioned her theory because in my eyes, this book is a preliminary introduction to feminism, and I recently flipped through the book and watched her lecture video. One of them touched me again. She believed that in a broad sense, feminism is to fight for fairer rights for the vulnerable groups in society. The vulnerable groups in society are mobile, and the essence of feminism is to protect vulnerable groups so that they can be themselves with protected rights and interests.

With such a theory, the cognitive structure of feminism in my mind is more logical and rational. Although the previous works have corresponding theoretical support, they are more based on the observation of life, the gain of experience, and the more intuitive experience. Now, I hope to inject more logical expressions of feminist cognition into my works. In my opinion, the social vulnerable groups are mobile, and feminism is to protect the vulnerable groups, this view is very logical and reasonable, it is solid and difficult to refute. This has also become the content that my new work is eager to express.

First try based on the idea

I tried to arrange the different female characters in my previous digital sculpture archive in different ways. Hope to create a mobile, rational, solid digital spatial power-location relationship.

About the creation process of 3D characters in this work and all subsequent works.

Do research for a new form of art reference

Suprematism:

I have been looking for a more rational way of expression in my video creation. I went back to Janson's History of Art: The Western Tradition and Realism, Rationalism, Surrealism: Art Between the Wars. I set my sights on the Russian Suprematism.

On the one hand, the inspiration given to me by Suprematism is that it embodies the ultimate sense of structure in expression, such as constructing a power relationship field in two-dimensional space, which is in line with my research about re-architect the gender power in digital space, with magical rational vibe.

On the other hand, Kasimier Severinovich Malevich, the founder of Suprematism art, said in his book, The Non-Objective World : "the visual phenomenon of the objective world itself is meaningless, and what is meaningful is feeling, so it is completely isolated from the environment." This is in line with my goal of expressing my work, and I hope to convey a reliable, solid, rational and logical experience to express my latest logical understanding of feminism.

Benedict Drew:

Benedict Drew's works have inspired me a lot, especially these two videos. His paintings will be more full of retro flavor, which also brings some inspiration to my works on war topics. But he is mentioned here because his video work is full of rigorous order and logic, which is completely consistent with the effect of the work I want to pursue and express. So I referred to his video movement form and created my latest work.

New try based on the new reference:

IMG_3542.PNG
IMG_3543.PNG
IMG_3544.PNG

I made some attempts on the spatial structure and finally referred to the work of Benedict, thinking that the combination of triangles and circles can better convey the flowing and stable spatial logical structure.

I chose her with obvious feminine characteristics and strong personality in archive and put her in a round background.

What makes the digital image of this character different from other characters is that I use a 3D model of an image formed by a program code, rather than the 3D scanning technology that other characters want to apply. Therefore, compared with other characters, she has higher-intensity digital features, and the overall shape will be more sharp and distorted.

It is hoped that she will form a power center called high intensity in space.

The second role I choose is a de-gender character. This character is poor and powerless, and she represents the vulnerable groups in my work. Last time, in the war-themed work Tango in a flooded castle, she played the crowd who fled in a hurry due to the influence of the war.

In this work, I use her image to build a solid spatial relationship, in which every individual of this group is always mobile and changing. I hope that the character in the work can feel their unpredictable powerlessness, while from a distance they can feel the solid structure formed by this group, and realize that everyone may be at the low end of the structure. the view that vulnerable groups in society are always mobile.

截屏2022-06-08 03.53.27.png

For these two roles, I have given them aggressive roles and relatively natural roles, hoping to strengthen their confrontation in the space power relationship.

Digital mapping Installation , loop

This work uses a highly rationalistic background color to quickly divide the power relationship in the digital world. The protagonists are women from archive who represent different identities and different personality characteristics. In the structural relationship, they are always in a state of flow. This expresses my thinking that feminism helps the weak groups  in social power relations, and the weak groups in society is always mobile and changing. I hope to convey my ideas through a relatively rational and tough attitude and visual effects.

4. Use materials, technology, space to make the presentation of the works express my views to a greater extent

Use materials, technology to create an installation instead of showing in a 2D screen

After attending the workshop with Hazel Brill, I noticed that there was a clear area division option in my work, which might be an interesting way to display it in multiple screen combinations. It also reminds me of my important reference,Shana Moulton to live works, and unlike the two-dimensional works displayed on the Internet, she likes to build a new space with sculptures of different shapes and then project them on the sculptures with irregular projections. I am keenly aware of the difference between the live exhibition and the film festival or online screen exhibition. I should use space and physical materials and technology to create a more vivid three-dimensional world.

article_1064x.jpg

This time I intend to use a relatively stiff material to make the projection screen to ensure that the projection shape can match the shape of the screen. But I don't want to use a completely rigid material screen like Shana Moulton's work, because I still want to ensure the flexibility of the work and retain the experience that can be seen from both sides of the screen.

Shana Moulton, Decorations of the Mind II, 2011, two video projections, wood structure, mixed media. Installation view, Galerie Gregor Staiger, Zurich.

After testing, I found that the tracing paper was too light to achieve the more solid, serious effect I wanted. On the other hand, the relatively thick paper jam shows that the effect is too rigid and not flexible. The texture of the white sheet is too soft, too light and wrinkled, so it fails to pass the quality of the screen.

IMG_0336.JPG

Thinking about the effect of the canvas as a screen fits this work best, but unlike last time, I need the canvas material to be more rigid this time.

IMG_3541.jpg
IMG_6399.jpg

After calculating the size of the canvas I need according to the plan and proportion, I cut it to make a screen that matches the shape of the projection.

IMG_5676.JPG

But in the process of hanging the screen, I found that the oil canvas was not as smooth as the last one, and the fabric didn't seem to be as stiff as it was last time. The reason is that the shape is different, the last rectangular screen can be pulled by two fishing lines, but this time triangles and circles are difficult to fix to a flat shape. So at the suggestion of Technician, I added a piece of wood to the bottom of the triangular screen to support its shape.

IMG_6407.JPG
IMG_6406.JPG
IMG_6408.JPG

a piece of wood to the bottom of the triangular screen to support its shape

But the effect is still soft, although I do not reject this effect, but still see it in Technician, cover the oil canvas with white latex and water, and then air-dry it with a hairdryer to harden the canvas. But the hardened canvas is difficult to carry and install, and you finally gave up this way.

IMG_6404.JPG

Cover the oil canvas with white latex and water, and then air-dry it with a hairdryer to harden the canvas

I hope that the smaller circular screen in front of these two circular screens can be rotated to match the flickering light in the projection and adds to the concept of flow in the video work.

Poster of work 24 hours & 3200 pilses

I was thinking about whether I should use a rubber band or what motor to buy to keep my screen spinning when it occurred to me that a installation in a performance work I had done was useful to the motor. In this work, I attach the phone to the phone bracket and use the motor to control the rotation of the phone, which rotates once every 24 hours. This time I only need to adjust the rotation speed pulse parameters to install the original motor into the installation I want.

IMG_6412.JPG

Poster of work 24 hours & 3200 pilses

After checking the instructions and asking the professional, I finally figured out the parameters I needed to rotate the frequency (once a minute, express 43, pulse 3200, delay0.0001 loop).

Coding process

But the strange thing is that after the installation, my motor did not move, replaced by a burst of noise.

I looked at all the possibilities, including whether there was a programming error, whether the motor itself was broken, and whether the voltage was wrong. Finally, after constantly flipping through the instructions and observing the motor, I found that it was the wrong connection of the wire. Finally I reconnected the circuit according to the instructions and finally got the motor I wanted to rotate once per minute.

Reconnect the circuit after learning

Rotation device completed

Create a suspension shelf for the screen:

since the front round screen needs to be rotated, a gap the diameter of the first screen circle needs to be vacated between the two screens. So I designed such a shelf, using nails to connect the unstable parts of the wood and fixing it with wire.

IMG_6427.JPG
IMG_6430.JPG

Now there is a motor that can rotate. I installed a piece of wood on the motor and punched a hole at both ends of the bar to connect the center screen through the fishing line to help the screen rotate.

However, at the top of the hanging screen, there needs to be a connector that can rotate freely to ensure that the screen can rotate smoothly for a long time. I went to the uni's art store and the nearby DIY store and asked about such connectors but couldn't find a suitable one.

But when I looked down at my student card, I realized that the connector between the student card and the belt around my neck was an excellent choice!

Installation test

The thinking about showing work in a certain space:

Because the screen can view the film from both sides, what I expect is that the installation can be placed in space so that the viewer can go around the back of the screen to watch the image, and the whole display is more interesting, not limited to two-dimensional projection.

IMG_6424.JPG

The main view of the installation placement plan

The top view of the installation placement plan.

But there were some errors when I uploaded my proposal, which became the proposal of the last exhibition. As a result, the curators did not see the need for my work. But fortunately, my last proposal work also needed a place in the middle of the pavilion. So on the first day of the exhibition, the curator agreed that I should hang the screen device in the middle of the venue to watch the test results, and told me the exact location the next day. Since Technician told me the next morning that I could cover the canvas with white latex and water to harden the canvas, I decided to buy the material to remake my device and consider meeting with the curator in the afternoon. But because of my carelessness, I didn't know that the curators would go to work in another gallery in the afternoon, so I missed meeting with all of them. In the end, I could only install the device against the wall, but my projector did not get permission to install because of security problems.

The final installation in Dilston gallery

The final installation in Dilston gallery

IMG_6420.jpg

Although the display of this work is different from what I imagined at the beginning. But I am not very dissatisfied with the exhibition.

One of the reasons is: this is a digital group exhibition, everyone's works basically use projection, the light in the space is more complex. When I was experimenting in this space, the light projected on the screen did not work well, and of course I was not allowed to project here because I didn't get a security permit.

The second reason is: this space brings me a more lively vibe, the walls have a lot of interesting texture, and the environment is not very dark, which makes it easy for the audience to pay attention to the texture of the environment. Therefore, I think that if the work is too gaudy, it may not fit into this space

The third reason is: this is a group exhibition, and the important thing is the cooperation between the works. If, as originally envisaged, the screen is placed in the middle of the space, or my brightly colored projection is cast on the screen, I even feel that it is not as elegant as this simple white installation.

Installating work with technician

When I was with Dan Howard-Birt critique, he told me that he thought my work might work best as an installation, the shape echoed the church window, and the material matched the church wall. He believes that some of the accidents in the exhibition process can be regarded as a miracle and let what should happen. I appreciate what he said to me, and I appreciate the unexpected presentation in this exhibition, but I still think I need it, the presentation of the work I had hoped for.

Finding the new space for the work:

1. Club

The space in the club

IMG_6431.jpg

The installation detail for the manager

After I decided to find my own place to do a solo show, the first thing that came to my mind was a club or bar with the right light and atmosphere that coincided with this strong-paced video. So I found club, beatbox in croydon box park and talked to their manager about it. Eugene, the manager, said I could show it in the bar next month. But we are still communicating about the details of how to install it.

2. The roof of a building:

IMG_6313.JPG
IMG_6233.JPG

The roof has a projector screen with a place to hang my installation, and there is also a plug, which fully meets the display conditions, and the roof of the building is 22 floor with beautiful scenery.

But the deficiency is that I can only install the installation against the wall, not in the middle of the space, which is against my will to install. And this building is a residential building, if visitors want to go upstairs to carry out, they need to register, which may also cause few people to see my exhibition. So I finally gave up this space.

3. Cafe:

I asked about a coffee shop and work space, and they agreed that I should display my work in the coffee shop after 9:00 in the evening and before 9:00 the next morning, and agreed to give me the key for safekeeping. I see this as a very good opportunity because the space is clean and all the lights can be turned off at night. Compared with club, I pay more attention to my work, and it is very convenient for visitors to enter the space. So the poster I made started the first solo exhibition.

The exhibition poster

Installation process

The effect of the installation of the work

The scene of the exhibition

Watch the effect of the work on the back.

After all, very few people come to the exhibition at night, and I seldom have the opportunity to talk about my work. I looked at the crowd back and forth at the door, many of them would look inside, but rarely went into the space.

Seeing this, an idea suddenly came to my mind: why can't I do a work that combines behavior and digital art? I can walk into the crowd with my installation and display my work in public. It can even be made into a mobile screening hall, which can be played at each screening point for half an hour, and the work can directly talk to the people in this area!!!

4. New thinking: be outside, face to pubic directly:

According to my research, I chose five places with dense pedestrian flow and typical public places (station, construction site, park, parking lot, business district), and plug can be found nearby.

The more I think about this project, the more excited I am about it, because I never thought that my research and development at MA in 15-month program would form a closed loop!

Each unit of my research has a new direction of development, there are slight changes, methodology will also be adjusted, I have always been very satisfied with this.

Until now, I have re-related to the content of Physical performance in my research and reused the research content of unit1!

It made me very excited. Coupled with my new research, the theme involves social vulnerable groups, as well as social power relations, this theme is more appropriate to express in the way of performance. I intend to take my device into the crowd influence, people's ideas, break the power structure in the social space, and then leave.

Like all performance works, have a relationship with the space, have a relationship with the people, break the original relationship of the space, and then leave without leaving any trace. It's so exciting!

The poster for the Digital performance exhibition

IMG_6444.JPG

Install work outside

On the whole, I am satisfied with the effect of this incident, because when I go to public places, many people will stop to watch, although not many people will come forward to talk to me, but it has achieved my goal.

However, this exhibition needs to be installed five times, and the installation is relatively fragile, and almost every time it has to be repaired before it can be reinstalled, which has caused great trouble to the whole performance. As a result, the performance lasted an hour and a half longer than planned. And the outdoor light is more complex than expected, which makes the projection works do not show a better effect in every site.

But overall, I think it was a very successful attempt, and it inspired my research festival. Because my research theme is to break the unequal gender power relations in digital space, which is a very social research direction, and my research theme also comes from my research and practice of breaking gender power relations in physical space. I think sharing my research results to public will also be part of my research theme. Therefore, I hope to complete my research festival in a more direct public-oriented way.

5. Research festival

After attending film festivals, radio events, various exhibitions, and curating exhibitions, I realized that the best way to face the public is to hold activities and let everyone participate actively. Coupled with the latest mobile digital performance exhibition, it goes directly to the experience of the audience. I wish I could hold a film festival for research festival to bring together artists who study the same topic to show different expressions of the same research topic.

After the film festival, we can also have a talk with the public. In the conversation, I hope to make a show of performance + speech, deconstruct the power relationship of the speech scene by performance, and present my research results in this way.

IMG_6445.jpg

TADO ART CENTRE's show in current space

I will invite three women to dress up as digital characters in my work, and the four of us will perform in different places in the space. In the course of the performance, the four of us will suddenly stop our performance in deferent period in order to form different power relationships. I will also show my latest works at the presentation and talk about the results of my latest practice.

After more than a year of study and life, I realized that finding suitable display opportunities as an artist is one of the most important things in my career. As an artist, I deeply know what kind of opportunities artists need. Looking back, I have some potential artist friends who lack a lot of display opportunities because they do not live in big cities. So I wonder if I can create an art sharing platform for more young artists like me to provide a broader, more high-quality cross-border, cross-media art display platform.

3.gif

So my two friends and I, as co-founders, started the project to build an art platform. One of the co-founders is my MA classmate Rui, who runs a personal jewelry brand and has extensive experience in marketing and social media operations. Another co-founder is my classmate of BA, Ted, who is a student in MICA, USA, and he can help us to hold offline exhibitions across borders in the United States. And he has rich experience in website operation. I have had two curatorial experiences at the West Bund Art & Design Fair and knew many artists based in China. My art sharing platform was established in China in 2019, and this time the content of cross-border exhibitions will be added to the original platform.

Stage1

We mainly share online in the early practice, we will take the initiative to find, we think that excellent artists cooperate with them. They provide us with works, details of their works, prices, and introductions to their artists. We are only responsible for typesetting, generating traffic for them on our website and Instagram platform, and helping them sell online.

Stage2

After accumulating a lot fans, we decided to carry out an offline exhibition. We made this decision in June, which happens to be the graduation season for colleges and universities.

We have learned that due to the epidemic, many colleges and universities in China do not plan to hold offline graduation exhibitions or reduce the size of graduation exhibitions, which gives us an opportunity.

So we contacted the student organization of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, hoping to join hands with them to hold a cross-border graduation exhibition.

The spaces we found

At first, we were very ambitious and hoped to have exhibitions in the United States, Britain and China.

To this end, I also contacted the boss of West Bund Art & Design Fair of Shanghai and asked if he could provide us with a venue. But the end result is that Shanghai is unable to provide a large exhibition venue for epidemic prevention and control.

Our co-founder Ted found an art park, an art screening hall, and an art gallery in the United States.

However, the exhibition time of the art park and the art screening hall exceeded our expectations, and the gallery provided us with better equipment and was willing to plan a post-exhibition talk for us, so we chose to work with Current space Gallery. And we also found a space in London.

However, because we have been looking for a place for cooperation for too long, we have missed the graduation season, so we decided to use the form of open call to gather new works for display.

We have been looking for suitable venues for nearly two months, many of which we are very satisfied with, but sometimes the time is not right, sometimes the other party will ask us to pay a high price, if we want to cooperate for free, they will ask us to exhibit proposal. It was only at this time that we realized that we had to find high-quality artists' works before we could find high-quality exhibition venues.

So we adjusted our workflow.

We first determine our general theme, and under our theme, we can look for the works of those artists. We first asked some experienced artists and hoped to get a chance to show their work. We are very lucky to have these four excellent artists.

The experienced artists we invited

Then we look for a common theme in the existing works, and do research to introduce the theme. Then write these information: venue information, artist information and theme into open call, because we have invited excellent artists, and our venue is suitable, many artists have signed up for our exhibition.

EXHIBITION-TO GO FASTER

A constant mix of acceleration and deceleration defines our era of pushing forward yet ceaselessly returning. Contemporary culture has become a scene of excess, oppression, and nihilism in this context. As for contemporary art, It is a witness of the contradictory moment, transforming the conflicts and anxieties of different latitudes into subjective experience, helping the contemporary subjects adjust to the competing yet incoherent forces in contemporary society.

"To Go Faster" explores the power of "faster" in contemporary art practice and critiques the anomalous state of human society as a result of "deliberate" accelerated growth.

The exhibition was organised by TADO  Art Centre in the UK and the US. TADO Art Centre is a non-profit arts organisation headquartered in London with branches in New York and Shanghai. It is dedicated to showing new work by young contemporary artists. In addition to being displayed in the exhibition, all selected works will be featured in an online exhibition shared with our patrons and followers and posted prominently on our gallery social media.

This year, TADO art committee will select works by attending artists. The winner will receive guest artist privileges at the TADO Art Centre and become candidates for the TADO 2023 London Residency Program.

As a result of the exhibition in Baltimore, we work with galleries, which will also put forward some requirements for the selection of artists. Therefore, we have selected some excellent local artists specifically for this exhibition. Since the exhibition is in the United States, and we have only one cp-founder in the United States, we have specially hired experienced curators in the United States to help us communicate with the gallery and co-curate.

This can be seen as a phased victory for us. Our exhibition has aroused social repercussions and has been praised by artists, galleries and critics.

Stage3

Our next step is not only to continue to move forward, but also to expand the scope of our business, including film festival residency projects. Film festivals and mainstream projects, we are already in progress, the next film festival, we hope to join our school's research festival to do a comprehensive presentation. With regard to the residency project, we decided to select outstanding artists from our previous exhibitions and reside in London in 2023.

In order to expand the scale of our exhibition, as well as the scope of our business, we began to look for suitable investors, including gallery in China, looking for jewelry brands of designers and institutions that help students produce collections of art for study abroad. Now we have agreed that Suzhou gallery will hold an exhibition in China in early 2023. The artists are young artists from all over the world and are still in the selection process.

Although TADO is a non-profit art sharing organization, I hope the profit of its business will be enough to support the future exhibitions and film festivals, as well as the operation of various art activities.

We will run the online art store, and we will also cooperate with more institutions to improve our influence.

I also hope that through this entrepreneurial project, I can apply for Innovator visa for Rui and me.
